What Houston parents are saying
“I WAS SKEPTICAL AT FIRST. IT COMPLETELY CHANGED MY PERSPECTIVE.”
As a dad, I tend to question everything and wanted to make sure we were making the right decision—and investment—for our 10-month-old son. But after my wife and I sat down with Kenyon, it became clear that she really knows her stuff.
She took the time to answer all of our questions, explained everything in a way that made sense, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. We left feeling much more confident and reassured than when we walked in.
If you’re on the fence like I was, I’d definitely recommend scheduling a consultation. It completely changed my perspective.— Boback, Houston Dad to a 10-month-old
★★★★★ Google Review“SHE NEVER PUSHED US TOWARD METHODS THAT INVOLVED MORE CRYING THAN WE WERE COMFORTABLE WITH.”
Kenyon is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and cares about the families she works with. Throughout the process, she shared a lot of helpful information and was always available when we had questions or needed reassurance.
She helped us through a very tough time and made what felt overwhelming much more manageable. What I appreciated most was how much she respected my wishes and my comfort level, and instead worked with us to find an approach that truly fit our family.
With her guidance, we were able to successfully sleep train our baby, and the improvement for our whole family has been incredible.— Nancy, Houston Mom to
a 6.5-month-old
★★★★★ Google Review“WE FINALLY HAD SPACE TO CONNECT AGAIN… AND THEN SLEPT FOR HOURS.”
We have a 7-month-old baby who previously needed co-sleeping and frequent night feeds. He was waking every 45 minutes to two hours, and I hadn’t slept more than two hours straight in months. I felt very little hope that it was going to change.
Only a few nights into our program with Kenyon, my husband and I had a stress-free Friday night together. We put our happy baby down to sleep, watched a show, ate pizza, and played a game without the stress of him waking every 45 minutes. It felt so nice to have space to connect again… and then sleep for hours after that!
Kenyon is so kind and supportive through everything and a great teacher as well. If you are on the fence, it will be worth it!— Kelsey, Mom of a 7-month-old

FAQ’S
-
No. Cry-it-out is never required to work with me. I use responsive, individualized sleep strategies designed to meet families where they are. I will help you choose an approach that fits your child’s temperament, your comfort level, and your family’s goals.
-
Crying is communication, and I think it’s important to be transparent that some children may cry or become frustrated when we make changes to the way they fall asleep. That doesn’t mean your child will automatically cry, but just like learning any new skill, such as tummy time, crawling, walking, or trying something new, there can be growing pains along the way.
My goal isn’t to eliminate every moment of frustration. It’s to help your child build new sleep skills while still feeling supported and responded to throughout the process.
Every sleep method I recommend allows you to remain responsive to your child. You will never be required to leave your child alone to cry it out.
-
No. Children are capable of learning to fall asleep independently beginning around 4 months adjusted age.
The approach to building independent sleep skills will look different depending on your child’s age, development, temperament, and current sleep habits, but most children can make meaningful progress with sleep at many different ages and stages.
-
No. I believe parents do not have to stop breastfeeding in order to achieve better sleep. As a breastfeeding mom myself, I understand how important that relationship can be, and my goal is always to support your family in reaching your goals, whatever those may be.
That said, sometimes nursing is one of the ways a baby currently relies on to fall asleep. Rather than removing breastfeeding altogether, we can make meaningful changes that help your child build healthy, independent sleep skills without depending on nursing to fall asleep, while still respecting and maintaining your breastfeeding relationship.
-
Yes. Temperament matters. Some children are more sensitive to change, more persistent, or need a slower and more responsive approach. Your child’s temperament is one of the things I consider when creating their personalized sleep plan.
-
No. I support families virtually throughout Houston, Texas, and nationwide.
-
My primary specialty is children from newborn through age 5. That said, if your child is older, please feel free to still schedule a free consult call with me.
I can let you know whether I’m the right fit or whether another provider may be more appropriate. -
